    Any ideas of what these 2 plane bodies used to be?

    The family that these came from emigrated from Scotland, next time I see them will have to have a look for any markings.

    An interesting little plane cemetry! I see another body (looks like a panel plane) under the stuff behind the smoother bodies, and at least one blade - where are the other 2? You better have a good search for the lever caps & cap-irons if you want to try bringing these old campaigners back to life. I hope someone does - sad to see good old tools in a state of ruin.....

    These look more like unfinished castings for infill planes than dilapidated old tools.
    No holes in the sides to fix the infill or the lever caps yet.
