    Default Unusual Mitre Box

    Hi everyone, I came across this mitre box and had to have it. I've looked around on the net and can't find any info. There are no makers marks on it. There may be some pieces missing off it, but I'm not sure. I'm wondering if anyone recognise it or know where I might get some info.

    That's the second one I've seen on a forum. The other one couldn't be identified either.

    This is one of many such tools, put Paul (pmcgee) on point, he'll find it!

    Thanks guys. From what I've seen I think I may have paid too much for it especially without the saw. Although it is sometimes not about the money. Sometimes you just want it. I will contact pmcgee and see what if I can get a bit more info.

    Thanks for the info and interest guys. I'm still looking for mor. The link to previous thread posted by TobyC was as much as i've been able to confirm. The Patent refered to in that thread is close. It seems to be a smaller version. There are enough similarities to call it a definite maybe.
    pmcgee doesn't have anything yet. Anyhow just thought I'd update.

    Stewie;
    That's where the other one was that no one could identify, but go for it, better pics than he had, might get a hit. And the focus was more on the saw in his post. It's worth a shot!
