Just as an update.
I got back to Veritas on Monday last week letting them know that I had tried the plane and wasn't completely happy. They got back to me a couple of days later saying they were shipping out a replacement and it just arrived about 20 min ago.
The replacement is nice and square so happy days.
Thanks everyone for the advice.
Cheers,
Dom

Glad you got a good resolution. Never had dealings with Veritas but they look pretty smart at putting things right.
Regards
John
