Alternate bore sizes on Bosch table saw
I've got a Bosch GTS 10 J table saw and I've been planning to get a flat tooth blade for various cuts. So far I've just used the blade that came with the saw. Searching for what the bore/arbor size is for the saw gave me Bosch specs of 30mm. But then I check my manual, and it says 25.4mm. So I look at the blade and it is 25.4mm. So I'm trying to understand what blades I can use and how I can use them, in terms of blades with a different bore.
I took the blade out and measured a few dimensions. The mounting flange has the 25.4mm mounting ring. The spindle diameter/arbor is 5/8". The spindle length is about 32mm.
Should I consider getting a set of different mounting flanges? Is this something that is readily available? I could see I would want a mounting flange for a 5/8" bore and one for a 30mm bore. Instead of changing the mounting flange for 30mm, I could use a reducing ring for 30mm -> 25.4mm. That seems to make more sense (particularly since they're a few bucks) but I'm sure I remember reading in the table saw manual not to use reducing rings but I can't find where I read that now. But since most of the Bosch-published specs for this saw say it has a 30mm arbor, I imagine it shouldn't be hard to find the 30mm variant of the mounting flange.
To use a blade that has a 5/8" bore, it is tempting to use the existing mounting flange, since the arbor is 5/8". But it would appear that there would not be enough of the mounting flange in contact with the blade since only the inner ring that is 25.4mm OD (5/8" ID) would be in contact with the blade. In these cases is it often done that you just get a new mounting flange to accommodate a 5/8" bore blade? Or are using such blades with this saw a no-go?
I've kind of answered my own question about 30mm bore blades just by writing this post - I'll just get a reducing ring and order the blade I want now - but I'll leave the question in case I'm wrong.
Finally, any pointers to any good resources (youtube, blogs, articles, etc) discussing this topic? Most of what I find is about tooth count, tooth type, gullet size, tooth angle, etc. Very little about adapting bore sizes. Perhaps the answer is just get the size that matches your saw?

Searching, searching, searching....
And I found some relevant info:
Bosch GTS10J Mods describes the 30mm mounting flanges with a mod to one to flatten/remove the collar supporting the 30mm bore to make it work with a 5/8" bore.
Bosch GTS10J Review has a few paragraphs and photos describing the arbor and blades for the saw and the regional variations.
So I'll get a reducing bush for 30mm to 25.4mm for the short term, and see if I can get a 30mm mounting flange for the longer term. I don't really have an immediate need to use 5/8" bore blades, but as I have perused the internet and gone "ooh, I think I want one of those", I've skipped them when finding they are 5/8" bores. I'm not sure I'm up for the author's angle grinder and dremel approach to turning the 30mm mounting flange into a 5/8" mounting flange and don't have a friend with a lathe, so I'm still not sure what I'm going to do there.
