Default Arrival of new panel saw

Over the weekend I've finally got around to organise a time to dismantle the panel saw I bought in late May and hiab the saw to my place.

Garage is 6 m deep. the carriage is 4m tip to tip, to run the slider fully you need 7.7m clear space, luckily this can be adjusted (this saw was spec'ed to cut 3m boards when purchased new). I can already foresee most of the slider surface will be used as bench space...

I didnt think it was necessary to dismantle it all but whats done is done. that aluminium slider weights at least 200kg. took 4 guys to lift it with force.

If you can see that small cart with 4 wheels at the end of the saw base frame.... basically it has to sit between the slider and the saw base, a total nightmare to put it back in

Very nice. Can you please tell me what is the "cyclone-look-alike" above the saw blade in the second last picture? I've never seen it before. It is not just a 3-way junction is it?

yes you are correct, it is just a 3 way junction. it looked dubious because I shoved one of the flexi into one of the inlet.
