Baileigh Industrial Table Saws
Does anybody have any experience/opinions regarding Baileigh Industrial products/sales/service? I am considering one of their table saws as a replacement for my Woodman SB1012. It's apparent they are similar to the Laguna and Harvey models but, as is often the case, the support makes a huge difference down the track which I have found out the hard way with my Woodman.
I am considering one of these two:
Entry Level Cabinet Saw TS-1040E-30 | Baileigh Industrial
Riving Knife Table Saw TS-1040P-30 | Baileigh Industrial
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

Hi Metester,
I went down to their show room before christmas to check out the saws as I'm also in the process of purchasing a new saw. Your are correct they are essentially re badged Harveys, the P-30 or professional model is the Harvey HW110GLE-30 / Grizzly G0690 which both get great reviews. The E-30 or entry level saw is essentially a Harvey HW110HB-30, the only difference between them is that the Harvey has a flip stop on the mitre gauge which the Baileigh misses out on.
In terms of the service as they are new only having set up in Melbourne last September it'll be hard to tell, when I went they were very friendly, the sales person gave me a full catalogue as well as a hat and was very knowledgeable. The machines looked quality but thats as far as I have gotten. I'm still deciding on mine so ill let you know how I go, i think their showroom re opens Monday , you should definitely go down to check it out!

Sounds good marinos. I think I will. I like their products but would consider it a bit of a gamble given they have only been in the country a few months. Spending so much on a tablesaw I'd like to think they will be around for a few years at least for any after sales issues or service required. Having said that, they may be filling a need that I have (and maybe many others) for quality products at the hobby woodworker level and professional service which will hold them in good stead for a successful business.

Baileigh's Have been in the states and some parts of Canada for many years but were always geared towards
metal machine and only in the last few years in woody bits. The woodworking part helped the company stay above water during the peak financial Dip. Anyway this is what a friend has told me From there

Panda.
