    Default dewalt DWE7491-XE table/bench saw.

    I would like some information on the above saw as i am going to sell my old triton 2000 and replace it with the dewalt any pro`s and con`s on the this saw would be appreciated as they have a reasonable deal on until june 30, $1338 includes the stand and a circular saw by redemption.thanks in anticipation. deckell, Derrick.Smith.

    You can safely tell your boys that it's more up to their generation to make technology that is logical for us oldies to understand.

    I have one of these units, I find it quite a good, it was good out of the box. Fence is quite substantial. I have put mine on a mobile base. You will probably find it’s a bit louder than your triton set up. Has a reasonable dust chute on rear. Riving knife is a quick release unit. I mainly do toys, small projects and picture frames.
    I did upgrade the original blade to a higher tooth count.
    i have mine nearly eighteen months now with no issues.

    Apart from the obvious “can’t buy it in Bundaberg would need to freight it” have you thought of this?

    Thank you wrongwayfirst for your information. we have two stores in down that have these in stock. what do think would be a fair price to ask for the triton 2000 in good condition. deckell.

    $200 - $400 pending condition

    more if with saw, extension table etc.

    I have seen rusty ones for $150-$200 but you never find out if they sell or get removed.
