    Thanks John. I have the luxury of a bit of space in my workshop so splitting was the way to go. Mine also came with two motors.

    The base makes a perfect base for the spindle sander to! )

    I replaced the bearings in the jointer - cost about $15 - but left those in the saw as they were fine.

    These are such solid machines I can see them running for years!

    Hi John,

    thanks for the great post. Im thinking of getting a old ezycut buzz 4 inch. What type of jointer blades do they take, and did you do any special mods to get that extra 120mm? Do you have any pics of the jointer.

    Chris,

    I just used standard straight cutter blade stock from a 12" planer that my father had. I made a jut to cut them exactly to 120mm and they fitted perfectly.

    Is anyone in Sydney keen on one of these, we have inherited one. From what I can tell it’s a grinder,lathe,saw and most likely a few other attachments.
    located in southwest Sydney,Raby .
    dont have any pictures atm but happy for anyone keen to inspect
