HABCO Homeshop
G'Day All,
I have just come into possession of a Habco home shop machine. It has obviously been in away in a back shed for a long time but apart from being rusty it will clean up o.k.My problem is that it has been partially dismantled. can anyone help me with a copy of a manual, or just a photo of one fully assembled.
I am in Goolwa South Australia, and would be happy to travel up to 100 k to have a look at one.

Maybe you could send a message to johnredl at the end of the thread below and see if you can get a copy of the manual from him. He is at least in your state.

Alan
I have just acquired a Homeshop saw/jointer, which I'm sure is in one piece. I live in Redwood Park SA, and would be willing to send you photos, if you need them. I know this is a bit late, but I've only just become a member.
I've looked at the info that is on this site, but it didn't seem to be very comprehensive. Is there such a thing as a manual for the machine?
If you have managed to get your machine working, I'd like to learn more about getting hold of some jointer knives.

Thanks mate, I have been out of action for a while, and the habco has sat in the workshop gathering dust, and waiting for a new motor. In the meantime I got hold of a pacemaker, in working order, but also missing the jointing blades, If anyone wants the unit it can be collected from my place, in Goolwa S.A.
Cheers, Alan

For your jointer blades, any good saw place should be able to make them, if you've a sample. I use Central Saw and Knife Works, 50 Dunorlan Rd Edwardstown

Fabulous service and they post out, so you don't have to go into the Big Smoke. No affiliation apart from a very satisfied customer.
