Jet JPS 10TS table extension
Coming up to 4 months with my new Jet tablesaw, and I luuuuurv it!! Worth every cent.
That said, I have installed a recessed storage shelf in the space between the fence rails (to the right), and a fold down outfeed table. The big problem I have is with extending the left side of the table. As can be seen, the cast iron table side has no mount points, and the fence rail mounting bolts are too recessed to be used. I dont fancy the idea of trying to drill through the cast iron to make mounting holes either.
Any suggestions?

Why not? Cast iron is quite drillable and can be easily tapped.

I'm not fully confident in my ability to get them properly aligned with the equipment I have, and I'd rather leave it as a last option. Originally Posted by graemet
