Dont get to pedantic about it. I use 5 thou (inches) accuracy on CNC and its fine. Rip a piece say 2 foot long and measure either end with calipers.....if it's 5 thou or less its damn fine for woodworking. If doing precision aerospace engineering then different story.
if you want better accuracy then you may need to look at how well engineered is your saw, blade, dial indicator, etc. there are a lot of factors in play not just the bolts holding the saw table top.
Of course patience is another variable.....sometimes you need a lot of it

I take your point but I'm angry and frustrated with myself for changing what should have been left alone and I can't get it back. Maybe it's a pride thing but I do have someone coming up to help me, so there will be another chapter to the story. I'll keep you posted. Also some of my rips today did have saw marks which by their position is an indicator of blade alignment
