martin T75 - what does it weigh ??
so okay - i am a newbie... but i need some facts if anyone has them... i have just been gifted a Martin T75 panel saw - awesome is not he word - provided i can move it with in 2weeks. does anyone know what they weigh - both stripped so i can load it in parts if necessary and whole so i can make a suitable mobile base...
might be in a manual if anyone has one lying around
best guesses are acceptable - i place mine at around 450 loaded and 200 base only...
thanks

Lucky, lucky beggar!!! Good luck to you. I'd reckon your guesses are fairly close.

Getting a free tablesaw home is similar to those stories where a mother lifts a car singlehandley off their baby or fights off some wild animal...this is life and death - you will develop super-human strength when the time comes !

My 3.2 mtr Robland panel saw weighs around 1200kg's if that's any help.Doing a quick Google search on that machine, it looks like yours maybe heavier as it's made of cast iron.

The current 74 weighs in at 1950 kg. You lucky, lucky bastard, we have a 60 with a few bells and whistles added at work and it has been faultless for the couple of years we've had it. Martin makes great kit.

Thanks Scissors... i have had a chat with a few mates and reckoned over it a bit and now i think i was way short with my guess. sounds like it is going to easily top out over a tonne...
i am still considering breaking it down and moving it in parts - would love to know how to get my hands on a manual if anyone has one... I have contacted the UK distributor via email so we will wait and see...
The complication is that I will be moving interstate soon and have no idea of where (probably around Noosa) and what's there in the new rental (ie 3phase). Could end up costing me more than its worth.... But what an opportunity huh?

The total is about 1900Kg... Consider yourself very lucky! It's a damn good machine!
