Masport Superfine - Anyone got info?
I've got a Masport Superfine table saw I'm trying to track down info on.
I assume it's a rebadge of someone else's machine, but I can't find any clues on the web..?
Someone please make an idiot out of me by directing me straight to a manual or such?
Cheers,
Justin

Masport is the original name.
They were made in New Zealand.
Have a look at the site Dyco websiteJim Carroll

Dyco was one of the better local manufacturers here. Logan was excellent but confined to dovetailer/spindle moulder, bandsaw and dowelling machines and drillpresses. Tanner and Hawkins also made woodworking machinery. My father had a Dyco Superfine a lot like your pics. He put a big sliding table on it to handle 8 x 4 sheets. Also he used it with dado cutters (like you'd fit on a spindle moulder) for rebating. Nice feature is the rise & fall riving knife. I would guess that saw isn't still available but I certainly recognise the guard in the url Jim provided. Big heavy fella. It lived on a shelf well away from the saw!
