    Default MBS 300 blade issue

    Hi all,

    I have a Mikkiway branded MBS300 for which I recently purchased a 305mm blade as the manual indicates a maximum blade dimension of 12 inches/305mm. When I lower the blade it remains some 20mm above the table. Is this normal? If not any idea what could be wrong?

    My MBS300 is the Carbatec one. The blade sits about 5-10mm below the table when fully lowered. The box the blade came in says it is 300mm, but I have never measured it to check.

    Not sure what your problem may be, but I would suggest something is not correct.

    thanks Geoff, thought so. I've pulled the top off and adjusted the stop on the arbor arm to enable maximum lowering, but that only improved things slightly.
