    Default Men's Shed Table Saw

    G'day all, I am a coordinator of the local men's shed in Wynyard Tasmania. We are only a small group of men. We are in need of a new table/cabinet saw. I looked at the Makita MLT100 today at $529.We need a general purpose saw, to cut a bit of everything. We have a old Makita 2703, it does a great job, but it has no guard, maybe someone has a guard to fit, that we can purchase. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Cheerz Darryl

    These people, Get Tools Direct,

    carry parts for your Makita saw.

    Call them. I always find suppliers are often quite keen to help out Mens Sheds.

    There is a review of the MLT100 on the forums here, general consensus seems to be not great but tweakable.
