There are other extrusion brands in Australia. Maytec is my favourite, but I have used Bosch Rexroth too.

For you Hammer owners, have you ever considered mounting a steel bar to the vertical face of your slider? Thats what my early Felder has (F rail in Felder speak). I have added those to my other machines to allow easy use of home made extension tables etc.

Had an opportunity to have a parallel guide brought back from the states for me recently. Very well made Adjuster from Brian Lamb tool works that came with a starrett measuring strip and precision ground metal that is a tight fit into the hammer t-slot on the slider table

I think people buy these in pairs but I’m happy with using my flip stop and clamping options on my slider so far, Very happy with the accuracy and safety introduced by this setup moving it all onto my slider instead of setting up for traditional rip cuts

This is my first intro into this kind of cutting so I’m working on adjusting processes to use this more as I also have my router table accessible via this slider also, won’t be using the parallel guide for that but just mentioning I’m becoming a fan overall of using a slider

    Cheers
    Nathan
