it depends on what you want and how much you are prepared to pay.
If you accept that the DW745 is a job site saw designed to be ultra portable, it is still a significant improvement on the Triton work center.
I have no doubt that with the appropriate checks, it would be a capable saw for a box maker. So far I've not made any fine boxes on mine -- that is a "to do" for the coming norther winter.
how you use any table saw depends on your experience and the capabilities of the saw.
Even with a $20,000 Altendorf some operations are easier using a jig to hold the work piece rather than tilting the blade to a particular angle.regards from Alberta, Canada
