    Default best price for TSC-10HB?

    hello to all

anyone know where I can get a TSC-10HB for less than Carbatec's $1801?

I figure with the dollar the way it is, someone HAS to be able to sell them for less

Try Gary Pye woodworking, I think you will find them a bit cheaper on the same saw.

I just bought mine from Carbatec at last months Melbourne Working with Wood Show for $1529 (current catalogue price $1699).

Hopefully you should be able to negotiate a better price than $1800

Good luck - you'll love the saw when the deal is done

The carbatec version includes the router wing, the one sold by Gary Pye doesnt. Usually on sale carbatec has the TSC10HB for 1529 and if you buy a few things you may get free freight . I would recommend their CMT blades, very happy with mine.

thanks for all the comments, it sounds like Carbatec are the best choice. However...... they take so bl**dy long!

I ordered some stuff from them almost 6 wks ago.. no sign of it. I'd like to support small business, but only if they pull their weight.

when do they generally hold their sales?

Just a little off the subject I have been using this saw saw for a while now. I think it's a reat sow except for the provisions for dust collection I have mine on its own 1.5 hp dust collector (one of the better carbatec jobbies) Quite frankly I am amazed that I ever hav e to empty the bag judging by the amount of dust spewed places other than in the bag. Thinking that I will have to add a hose to the balde guard. on the subject of the dust collector I really am not real impressed with the 1.5 hp collector from carbatec. for the main system we have the carbatec 5 hp unit and it works great. I paid the extra for the better quality unit maybe I should have gone for hp over quality. well enough beefing for one night

    Mr Toad,
I have the FM300 (2hp) and the more expensive 1.5hp (CTV001 I think). The FM300 sucks - dust and chips that is - far better than the CTV001.
