Default Pros and cons for Table Saw with top hung Trunion

Looking at lower end table saw ($1500-$2200). Today I looked at a MJ2325B which way suggested was identical to Carbatec 10" saw. It has gear hung off underside of cast table top. From reports, some people don't think so much of this setup.

Just trying to find out what people think the pros and cons are of this type of setup?

This model saw has been around for quite some years and if you put MJ2325 in the forum search box you will find quite a few threads on it.

Thanks Big Shed - I have checked a number of posts on machine. I was not so much interested in the actual saw model but the pros and cons of mounting trunion on underside of the top as against the cabinet mount trunion.

    cheers
