See video above, it's called side clearance, not set.
ian, I have never heard of a blade having variable side clearance and would be surprised if such a blade existed (other than by special order perhaps). I'm not sure if there is a name for the difference in tooth height on a TC grind, it's built in to the geometry of the grind and AFAIK doesn't vary.

Thanks Elan, you could well be correct.
But I'm sure that one time when setting the fence I had to ensure I was measuring off a "left" rather than a "right" tooth.regards from Alberta, Canada

I had this issue with thin blade and riving knife thickness and made a thinner riving knife to suit,but the material I made it from was not very stable and was easily deflected
I then thought,why do I need a thin kerf blade other that cutting melamine and ply ? took it off and it remains in the cupboard to this day
