I bought a ryobi table saw a year or so ago and I hate it to bits, I can't do a thing with it, even basic ripping is beyond it. Save your money and buy something better.

I used my Triton for 20 years
and it did some great stuff for me...recently moved to a 12" sliding table panel, now that my skills, I think, are better than the Triton...
I did stuff like making 3mm slivers of 50mm thick oregon to glue to a 3m long MDF 3 sided box to hide a steel beam and make it look like a laminated beam.
Through to ripping metres and metres of jarrah flooring to match the existing and then T&G it on the router table, and small cabinet jobs.
Even used it to do M&T joints on some furniture.
That all said I concur that the new cost of a Triton compared to a saw table...but there is some flexibility with attachments you don't get with a dedicated saw..
The one thing to remember on the Triton trail is a GOOD saw is needed, with no side play..and that can cost serious bucks.
