Default Sawstop PCS - blade/slot alignment

I'm about to order a Sawstop PCS (and yes I'm excited ) but I remember the last time I tried to align a blade with the slots and it was a nightmare. Took hours and even then I didn't get it as parallel as I would have liked. Every time I thought I was there tightening a bolt would throw it out. I've watched all the videos and read documentation on this adjustment on the PCS and it does seem easier. So I'm really hoping that out of the box it is right (less than 3 thou) but if I have to adjust it does anyone who's done it have any tips for me. Even better anyone who's done it and lives in Eastern Victoria and wants to earn some pocket money???

I have an Industrial version, so not sure if the professional is the same, I hope they share the good alignment mechanism. Mine came parallel right out of the box. But then I was taking the top off, and then had to re-align it. I do not remember the details, but I remember that I was impressed how clever the adjustment was, and by following several short steps of the manual - with minimum number of iterations I got as precise as my dial would measure (I think 0.002" or even 0.001").

Just a follow on. It was 0.01" out of the box. It could have been higher but it was cutting beautifully so I thought I'd just leave it but it kept bugging me so I contacted sawstop and they said that 0.01" was just on tolerance and leave it. I didn't accept their advice and decided to have a go at adjusting it myself and if I can't do it then I'd pay a technician to do it for me. Anyway I read the manual and watched a video on how to do this and within 30 minutes I had it at 0.001" but I was worried that tightening the bolts would throw it out but I tightened each one a little at a time in a star formation and kept an eye on the setting and it didn't change. I couldn't believe how easy and elegant this was. I can now sleep at night.

Ian, the only pictures I could show would be the dial indicator showing the same reading on the same tooth after rotation. What did you want to see?
