SawStop Router Table wing coming soon
I'm not sure any one has posted before, but i just thought it was an interesting option for those that have or are considering a sawstop and need a router table as well.
New Options | SawStop
I like the fold down table feedlot extension as well.
As for pricing, it's be interesting to see what we are whacked here in Aussie

The router option does look good but what worries me is compatability of the router lift with routers available here.
cheers

I will say right at the outset that I haven't made any purchase yet, but am doing a bucketload of research in preparation of buying the Professional SawStop, and 52" Incra TS-LS Joinery system. This system allows the mounting of a router table to the right of the saw table. I am fairly sure that if you had the right length SawStop rails, you could also mount a router table to these rails - someone please correct me if I am wrong!
In terms of a router lift, I went many times around in circles doing research on this - it was easy to find a lift in the USA, but it would mostly only take USA made routers. No good to us here, then I thought about getting one shipped over, and buying a local 240V to 110V converter - it would work, but wind up being crazy expensive. Then I found a couple of "motor only" "routers" that would work in the Incra router lift (ping me by PM for info if you need, I still have them bookmarked).
Then, I found an Australian router lift that would fit in a Euro or USA size router table - it's available from Timbecon: https://www.timbecon.com.au/routing/...mounting-plate
And after doing all that research, and chasing around... I found out the Triton TRA001 router (it's nice because 2400W means never wanting more power) doesn't even need a lift, and you can just mount it under a normal router plate... saving hundreds on a lift. If you're super lazy, you can get something like: Triton Router 2" Crank "Extension" Only | eBay for it.
Caveat: I haven't made my purchases yet, I've only done the research, and have yet to confirm it all with people "in the know" - I have many other useful bookmarks when it comes to router lifts and router tables in table saw rails, so if you need more links, happy to shoot them to you

I havent used the winder handle for my Triton for over a year. I find it easier to use the built in micro winder
on the router even though it's in a table behind a door. I have to lock the plunger when I adjust the height and their beside each other. To stop the micro winder winding down you have to give it a bit of a nip up after locking the plunger anyway.
