TSC-12 table saw alignment issue
Hi
Hoping someone can help, I have a 1987 TSC-12 table saw that has an issue where the blade move to the left as it is lowered
Ive checked the trunnions and the bars and the bars are parallel and the saw stays in alignment when tilted to 45 deg if still at almost full height but when lowering the blade is shifts to the left a lot, maybe a bit Moreno than half a tooth thickness
id like to sort it before making a cross cut sled etc, not much point getting a sled sorted if you can't use it at more than one depth
cheers
Matt

I have a generic 10in Table Saw that also moves as it is raised/lowered. I have not been able to solve the issue, but put it down to minor sloppiness in the mechanism.
I just need to recheck measurements at different heights. I haven't measured the difference, but it is minor, but annoying.
I think it is part of the price you pay for a cheaper end saw.

If it only moved .05mm or even .1mm it would be ok but it's moving more like 1.5 or even 2mm

Did some work with mine this weekend.
With three cuts, the difference from 10mm high to full height was 0.24mm, 0.32mm and 0.36mm.
So I agree that is a nuisance, but acceptable and nowhere as bad as yours.
Hopefully someone else may offer some advice for your problem.
