Bugger.... have I knackered my Thicknesser?
I just had a piece of timber catch on the infeed so instead of turning it off I gave it a nudge. I then turned it off and tried to restart after lifting the blades and now the infeed rollers don't seem to be working.
Have I completely stuffed it? Has anyone fixed infeed rollers on a Ryobi AP13AK ?

OK I figured it out. I thought I'd take the covers off and have a look inside. I removed the plastic cover at one end (Picture 1) to reveal sprockets and chains (Picture 2) ....can you tell I've got no idea what I'm looking at.
I quickly figure out that the chain shown in Picture 2 runs between the infeed rollers but notice a rather lonely sprocket but no chain at the top. I look in the plastic cover and discover the missing chain (Picture 3). It's a little worse for wear (Picture 4) and obviously the cause of my problem.
I fix the chain with a small hammer and some persuasion and it looks like it should again (Picture 5).
After putting all the covers back on I turn it on and the rollers work fine.

I'd be replacing that deformed link with a new joiner, I think you may find that the first time you load the feed rollers up, it may open up again
If you take the chain to a chain and sprocket dealer, they'll be able to match the joiner to the chain easily.Cheers

I've just run the equivalent of about 30-40 metres of English Oak through it and it's holding so far. If it goes again I'll take it to someone to fix properly.
