Default Dewalt DW735 - Can someone please explain when to use the Turret Stop -NOT how To

    Hi all,

I've finally been able to take the time to setup a thru slide for my new DW735
I'm super happy with the finished product

Dewalt DW735 - instruction manual describes HOW to SET the Turret Stop
But NOT the when logic to use the Turret Stop

If you actually own and/or have actually used a Dewalt DW725
    PLEASE
    - can you post step by step scenarios
    - on the different logic of when uses
    the Turret Stop

NOT HOW to set/adjust it by copy pasting the manual instructions?

On my successful first test, I just set the Turret to the minimum number
and set the depth gauge to the material height +1mm.

Then run the work piece thru ( I didn't care if the blades engaged the first or first few times thru or not)
and adjusted the height -1/4 turn.
and repeat until the work piece is completed flat.

To clarify, I never re-adjust the Turret.

    I'm a metric man!
Lucky the height gauge and the Turret Stop is in mm.

    Thanks in Advance
    Thanks,
    Barry G. Sumpter

    Thanks Crowie,
    Much Apprecieated!

    Seen it, read it.
All I got was " ... and never touched it either ..."

I'm sticking with that quote until otherwise adviced.

Thanks to all for the time spent reading and considering this OP.

All my best to each and all.
    Thanks,
