Seems to be the 240V equivalent of their US Model DW734 planer. Look here for specs, except substitute 240V.

I have one thats served me well.

They have a head lock mechanism and 2 reshapenable blades. Dust collection is pretty much non-existant, more like a dust spreader.

But if it's in good condition and the price is right then go for it.

Not quite. I think the 734 is a revised version of the 733. I bought a distressed 733 at a garage sale several years ago for a song. I'd hoped the chain had merely slipped a tooth to produce racking, but examination and disassembly revealed that the main casting was cracked by too-vigorous adjustment. I found some info at http://www.dewaltservicenet.com a couple years ago. (I haven't verified the link.) The voltage and frequency distinction may be in the "Type." Mine is Type 1; 240v/50Hz may be Type 2. I also found a Service Bulletin #06018, which advised removing two each of a lock nut (item 62), set screw (item 63), and washer (item 153) when servicing, to reduce reported binding problems. This was probably the impetus for the revised design. IIRC, there's also a distinction about sharpening vs. replacing blades in the 733 vs. 734, but I don't remember which was which. A new casting costs about US$100, and as I don't have an immediate need for a thicknesser, I've postponed repairs.
