    Default Hammer A3-26 base dimensions

    Hi all,

Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere: couldn't find it on a search.

I have a Hammer A3-26 on the way. I'm going with a mobile base rather than the mobility system Hammer sells because I need to be able to move the machine in line with its long axis.

I'm trying to set the mobile base up for the right dimensions in advance of it arriving. I haven't been able to find the relevant dimensions in the manual (presumably because they expect people to buy the mobility kit). If anyone has this machine and could throw the tape measure across both axes of the base/housing it I'd be in your debt.

    Kev

    Hi Kev,

Hopefully someone out there has a A3-26 that could measure it up the base area for you.

If that fails, you could always email Peter and get him to check with the factory?

My wait for the A3-31 hopefully ends next week, so i can't help with the measurements

Appreciate the response mate👍. I'm sure I'll probably end up chasing Peter for the answer, but I've already chewed up a bit of his time with questions so I thought I'd spare him this one.

Enjoy your 31 when it rolls in!

I cut a piece of yellow tongue flooring and put four casters on it for my A3-31. What I have found is it can be a bit hard to get the whole thing moving when I want to move it, that is with big casters on a timber floor. I have master catalogue and it does not give chassis dimensions for the machine only an overall dimension, mine was made to be a fair bit bigger than the machine in case it moved on the platform when I pushed it but that has not been the case and it is 600 x 800mm.

    Hi Kev,

Was that your A3-26 on the back of the trailer on Thursday when my Hammer gear was delivered?
