Luna jointer / thicknesser - user manual?
Hi All,
I bought an old Luna L38-310 combination thicknesser / jointer a couple of months ago. I am very happy with the build quality, weight and simple engineering in the old Luna, and it is performing well after having the knives sharpened. However I'd like to know a little more about the machine (maintenance and adjustments) and wondering if anyone here might have the user manual for the Luna series? I believe the manual is common between the various sizes and it was also part of the W59 / W69 series of table saw / spindle moulder machines.
If anyone might have a copy laying around that I could borrow and scan it would be greatly appreciated! I have inquired with the original manufacturer for Luna in Sweden (called l Ejca, who still make this machine), and they are willing to supply a hard copy but the postage from Sweden makes it quite an expensive exercise.
I also welcome any general thoughts / tips for the Luna machines. Dust extraction looks like it wasn't considered "in the day" and I have just cobbled together some dust hoods from plywood for the short term.
I'm in Eltham (VIC) but happy to cover any costs for postage in Aus.
Thanks, Liam.

Hi michaelwwalsh88, it's a nice solid unit and mine is still going strong. The original manufacturer in Sweden is still making them today as far as I know (with some minor improvements) https://www.ejca.se/produkter
I've just uploaded the manual here: Luna W and L series manual (which was given to me by aussiepens above)
As for the value, I'm not too sure sorry. I paid around $1000 for mine back in 2015 but I couldn't tell you if that was a good/bad price. It was just around the corner from my house and felt like a solid machine (and was cheaper than a good new unit) so I bought it...
