Performax (or JET) Drum Sander - help with Feed Drive Specs
Hi All,
Recently I was in the right place at the right time and was given a Performax 16-32 drum sander.
Unfortunately the feed conveyor drive has been completely removed.
Wondering if any owner of one of these machines (or a Jet 16-32) could advise details from the conveyor drive motor plate (or post photo of it).
I know the conveyor speed range should be in the 0-10 rpm range.
Replacement drive spare parts ex US are a bit expensive IMO.
I believe I can fit a small gearmotor unit from here for about 2/3 price.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Remember the feed is variable speed as well. I'm away from my 16/32 until next week, but can get a pic of the motor info plate if nobody else can do this for you in the meantime.
This YouTube video may be helpful (although US-centric) - if you end up getting parts from JET, it looks like the latest "SandSmart" belt drive/controller kit can be retrofitted to the 16/32

If your sander is similar to the generic ones, Carbatec, H&F, Leda etc. I got my parts from Leda Machinery, [email protected] prices were a lot better than others, I've a Carbatec one and got all the spares required to get it going again.

The photo is of the belt drive motor on my Performax 16/32
The Max motor RPM is 40 but obviously can be controlled slower than that
