Thread: Triton TPT15 Gearbox Spare Parts

Hi all,

I was running my thicknesser today when it started making a gravelly noise from the gearbox, and I noticed the feed rollers were not rotating. Upon closer inspection one of the gears has melted the bushing and burned through the gearbox housing (see attached). The teeth on the gears are shot, the bushing is clearly beyond help, and the housing will need to be replaced as well. I can't find spares for this thing anywhere, even the usual sources I have bought spares for other Triton equipment recently. I did find the Grizzly clone in the US and even found the part numbers I need, but the gear has been discontinued.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've emailed Carbatec but I'm not holding my breath for the answer I want.
