Wedge Shape output & Jet Lock Bar
Hi Guys,
I have recently aquired a 6" jointer and have been trying it out. I have noticed that as I keep jointing the same piece over, the piece starts to look like a wedge. Its much thinner at the front that in it at the back. I assume it has something to do with my technique but would be interested in any tips.
Also, do you know where I can get a replacement knife lock bar locally or from overseas? (JI-C02)
Cheers
Nick

Sounds like the knifes aren't quite set level with the outfeed table or the tables might not be parallel to each other

This is quite a good article on setting up a jointer. A few ideas to help you set up your machine.
