    I should have thought of that. I’ll just use a longer air hose and a short lead. Problem solved.

    Seems a bit deceptive.
    "Heavy Duty" usually refers to the thickness of the outer layer of plastic insulation on the cable, meaning that it can take more physical abuse not handle more current.

    IIRC, the most likely issue with a long lead on a motor is that the startup current increases to compensate for the loss of voltage over the cable.
    This then results in tripped breakers.

    If that doesn't happen, then the motor can overheat. (depends on the type of load).

    But as noted, for air compressor, just use more hose... I was using I think 55m today.
