    Default More advice please

    I am assisting one of my wife’s friends clear out her garage. Her husband had a few machines that I’m assisting her dispose of. One is a Kity 636 combination Thicknesser/jointer.

    I’ve searched and can’t find a reference point. The machine seems to have had very little use.

    Any advice?

    I would have thought around $600-700 for a combo like that in good nick but it will really depend on how much someone wants it.
    I'd stick it on here for sale ( include the specs like motor HP, max height cut, max width etc ) and if it fails to sell put it on ebay with a starting price of $500.

    Kity is one of a few brand names that have common parentage with Sheppach, but not sure if that helps you at all. Not sure who is the manufacturer and which is the badge engineered versions.
    I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.
