Once you cut a few mitres and bevels on a SCMS you probably won't bother with cutting these with a table saw. But you dont need to spend more than $200 - $400 on the SCMS to get that functionality.
Above that and you start paying dearly for the increase in extra quality and nice to have features.
The table saw comes into its own on panels and material over about 300mm or so wide. (Or long in the case of a bevel).
