Default Brook Crompton Betts gmf k1440 1000mm woodlathe

Ok so i am new to the woodturning stuff but i bought a Brook Crompton Betts gmf k1440 1000mm woodlathe off some guy on gum tree, but the belt was broken and i need to replace it. I am unsure what to use. If anyone could helpme with replacing this piece i would be very grateful.

I have found another thread on these forums where some one else was talking about the same machine, i have asked on the forum as well but the thread was like 6 years old so i dont expect anyone to answer that post.

    Please help????

    Brian

I may be wrong But to my knowledge Brook Crompton Betts never made lathes only the electric motor take the belt to CBC or another supplier of belts and they will match it for you

    Hi Brian

Did you have any luck sourcing a new belt?

That dude was on the forum for a total of 1 day, 2 years ago. He's not going to answer.
