    Default Cheap Linisher - eBay

    Hi folks

Just bought one of these. Note that there is a voucher that you add to get a further 20% off. It ends up being $119 I think

    Cheers

Have you just ordered it or you have received it? Just wondering how they compare to say the multitool attachment for an bench grinder, https://www.whiteint.com.au/power-to...x-belts-510901

Aldi have them on sale this week. They all look a generic type that even Ryobi used

We have the Ryobi branded version of these sanders at the mens shed where it gets a hammering and we go through lots of belts and discs and it generates a lot of dust for its size.
The dust extraction port and collection on these are woeful and needs a complete rebuild if you want to manage the dust from it.

Comparing it to the "multitool attachment for a bench grinder" is not straight forward. The Baumr/Aldi/Ryobi units are 1/2 output power so not a lot of grunt.
The multitool are 4 times the price but are a very rugged unit and should be fitted to an 8" 1HP grinder.

I have the Toolex version and love it. It's used by one person in hobby mode, but very useful for band saw box's and such.
I love the disc sander on the side, very useful for a quick touch up on an edge or to round off a corner.
I was going to buy a belt sander and convert it into a linisher but have no regrets spending the extra on the Toolex.
