Do I need this ?
I make wooden toy cars for under privileged kids. I use a disk/belt sander a huge amount to finish to the required size etc. It is almost the most often used machine in the shed. I am almost tempted to buy a second - one for fine sanding, one for rougher sanding eg paint removal. Space restrictions being a problem I am trying to work around.
If you "think" you need it - you probably do

I have a carbatec unit that gets flogged daily if you have a belt stick to clean the belts/disks last for ages. I use both the disc for curved surfaces and belt for taking warps and thicknesser lines off and it does a great job.
