Default Converting 3 phase to 1 phase

I have picked up a woodfast dust extractor with a 3 phase motor and am going to convert it, any thoughts on whether to change the motor to a 1 phase unit or just use a VFD, comments please.

    Hi
Just use a VFD then you can run it at 60 HZ then you will be surprised at the extra performance
I changed a 3Hp 1 PH extractor to a 2 HP 3 PH with VFD and the difference from 50 HZ to 60 HZ is astounding
    Cheers Rod
