Drill press how to fix bolt that unwinds
I have this old Richardson drill press that has a handle to wind the table up and down.
when I wind the handle anti clockwise, it unscrews the bolt that holds the handle and cog in place, until the cog no longer engages properly.
i suspect its not the original setup as the large washer seems to be home made.
any ideas how this should be set up so the bolt doesn't unwind?
I pulled it off thinking there might be a keyway or something in there, but there isn't. I forgot to take photos of that though. if you want to see, I can take photos and post them later.
Thanks
Jason

If all else fails, use Loctite thread lock. It's one way out if there are no other suggestions.
