Default Drill storage solution For me anyway

I am not one for putting drills back in the correct size hole when finished with, It just dropped back into the big container or drills. No new tricks here.

So I just had enough of searching for small drill bit under the bigger ones so I came up with this solution.
A before and after shot. The two top trays slid back and forth or can be lifted out. The larger one holds the most used drill bits, the smaller one has my tap and die collection.
All the other bits, hole saw and so on go in the bottom of the draw.
The mini orb is cheap and keep the bit sorted in the ruff sizing, making my search much simpler.

Thought this might be of help to others like me who have the big container or drill bits hiding in the shed.

That is the best drill storage solution that I have seen yet.

    Thanks for the idea!

Mine all just get thrown in a tray and it is far from satisfactory.

Note miniorb shed lining , I have plenty of miniorb left so I am going to use your idea to make a rack for my 13 - 25 mm MT drill set.

I like it too! In fact I think it is one of the handiest setups I have seen. Looks quick and easy to get a bit then put it back.
