Hiya all, long time no see
I am not sure where to put this post but I guess here is where most will see it.
We have a GMC Belt/Disc sander.
Yes, I know the company has disappeared never to be seen again
Problem is, the drivebelt has given up the ghost, hardly any corrugations left.
The machine doesn't work too good when it keeps starting and stopping.
Anyone know where I should look for a new belt, please?
Thanks in advance
Cheers

G'day
It was white apple and, so far it is looking good, still have at least another 6 months to go.
Cheers

I find the bearing supplies usually have a selection of belts - just need to take the old one in,

It is a flat rubber belt with rounded teeth, about 10 mm wide and 365 mm circumference.
Unfortunately we do not have too many bearing suppliers around here

Timing Belt
You could also try PIES Australia or Small Parts and Bearings (see Belt - Timing). Apart from the belt length and width, you also need to know the pitch of the teeth (the distance between the teeth) and the number of teeth on the belt.
The first step towards knowledge is to know that we are ignorant.
