Looking for an Australian alternative to Minwax/Johnson paste wax
I've read time and again that a lot of people use these for protecting surfaces and reducing friction but I'm struggling to find them in Australia. Does anyone know of any alternatives available here? I'm just using 3 in 1 to protect things at the moment and it's not the greatest solution for the long term.

What are you protecting? For my machinery I use 'silverglide' which you can get from Carbatec. And I've heard of people using traditional wax from ubeaut.

I got a tub of Minwax Paste Finishing Wax | Minwax from Masters. I don't like the stuff. It is so hard in the tub. Ubeaut Traditional Wax is soft and gooey which makes it easy to get out of the tub and onto my cloth.

Cheers for the recommendations guys, I think I'll give them both a try and see what I think!
Protecting the cast iron top on a 10" Woodfast bandsaw and the bed of a Vicmarc lathe. Still a couple of months off on the Vicmarc though, got a fair bit of work left on it.

Bunnings has Feast Watson Mastertouch Carnuba Wax which I think is pretty much the same thing as Paste wax.

Silver gleit is the answer from Carba Tech. I use it on all my gear and never have a problem with wax build up etc.
With kind regards and may the wood chips fly

The wax skins off rolls of cheese and some white spirt works. As does Lanotec, or any other lanolin product. From a cost benefit point of view, I go with the wax and white spirit thing. Costs next to nothing and works well.
