I did see the Triton switches sold as a spare part about 15yrs ago but have not seen any since.
On my Router Table i have used the female socket from a caravan exterior wall which is coupled to a switch and then to a male thingee that the plug from the router fits, there is no E-stop but a quick pull on the lead would shut everything down.

Timbecon have safety switches listed at $57-90.
I bought a couple some time ago when they were on special and they are OK

If you think you need an emergency switch then fumbling for other switches is not a good idea and a proper emergency switches should be fitted.
If you machines are <~1000W I can recommend these $10 emergency switches.
I have them fitted to my WW and MW lathes.

I bought some of these switches for various projects a little while back.
They are NVR (no volt release) which means that if power is lost for some reason, you have to press the green button to turn it back on.
There's also the big red button for an e-stop.

You do have to wire them up yourself though, or rather a suitably qualified,, licensed person has to do it for you.

The last one is probably more along the lines of what I am looking for as it has an enclosed housing, start and E/stop.

I got them from Axminster tools in the UK. Price was £12 each (about $17?). Cheapest I could find locally were about $35+GST without an enclosure or the E-Stop button.

Shipping was around £20 but that was for 4 of the switches and a few totally necessary tools which I only bought to spread the cost of freight, honest!

The manufacturer is Chinese and I'm sure you can buy them on Alibaba - but minimum order is probably in the hundreds.

If you're still looking, Carba-Tec in Perth (and probably elsewhere) has Triton Workcentre type ones, I saw them today. I think they're intended as a replacement, but you could use them for pretty much anything, and they're designed to take a standard wall plug in, and one out, so you can set them up no worries, and easily re-purpose them if your needs change. They weren't very expensive either from memory. I was thinking of picking up a couple myself, except I'd already blown my budget. Stupid Carba-Tec

Don't spose you have a URL where i could order this online? I've checked the carbatec store and can't find what you mentioned. I have seem them before though and that is exactly what i need.

Your idea may be good for you but if you are hooked up to that machine and somebody else has to turn off the thing to save you.....there could be confusion. A properly labelled Emergency Switch is easily spotted by some body new to the work area. What price for safety
