Such a thing would be bloody useful for my irrigation piping.

I built a cabinet for the new compressor. It's about as loud as a very loud fridge - just a rumble, not an attack!

in general, belt driven compressors are quieter than the ones with the compressor on the end of the motor shaft. They run at a slower rpm. U can replace the motor as needed, and even the compressor half can be rebuilt/replaced.
