Replacement ball bearings for lathe
Hey guys. I've just gotten down to cleaning my lathe up a bit after being overseas for a few weeks and I've noticed a bit of 'squeeling' from the headstock bearings.
It's one of the old generic morse taper lathes from the early 90s and chances are the bearings haven't been changed since it was originally purchased. I managed to get the bearing number thing and its "80104E - 60104E". From my 3 minutes of research I just did(lol), it could take 2 different labelled bearings, but they have the exact same dimenions. The "new model" ball bearings they sell which match the old ones are "6004E-2Z or 6004E-Z".
The trouble is, no one seems to sell them on eBay. I googled searched and it's only a whole lot of chinese places that have very little or very bad english on their websites. Does anyone know of a place that sells them while also speaking understandable english??
Any help's appreciated, thanks.
