Default Replacing conveyor belt on Jet10-20 Plus drum sander

The belt on my 10 yr old Jet 10-20 Plus drum sander finally failed, bit I was able to source a new one from Carbatec. How lucky was that!
I was able to slip the replacement conveyor belt on the machine after winding the out going rollers in to their shortest position.
The problem is fitting the two trackers. The belt fitted neatly into the lower slot on the in-board tracker, but I cannot work out how to fit the out-board tracker to the belt. It is currently sitting below the belt. There is nothing in the Operator Manual on how to do this.
I have fixed the drum sander to a mobile cabinet, and there is very little room between the bottom of the belt assembly and the top of the cabinet.
Hoping someone might have some experience with fitting the trackers that they could ahare
    regards,

    Default Got it !!

Position the lower slot of the outboard tracker on to the belt, about the middle of the travel, then slide the tracker along the belt towards the rear/ incoming side of the machine, and into the U shaped steel channel. The tracker has a rare earth magnet on the rear, and this connects the tracker to the channel and holds the tracker in position.

My drum sander is bolted to the top of a mobile cabinet I made to hold the extension tables, belts, sponge rubber. My problem was complicated by the fact that the right angled support bracket which holds the bed in position (see in left of attached drawing ) was inserted back to front, with the bracket foot and hold down screws under the bed, so I could not access the belt or the outboard tracker in the normal way by simply undoing and removing the bracket in. To change the conveyor belt , I had to undo the machine hold down bolts, slide the heavy sander away from the support bracket and remove the support bracket.

The support bracket was installed incorrectly because of the restrictions in width of the mobile cabinet. I had turned the foot of the bracket inwards to save space, whereas it should have been facing outwards from the bed, easily removable and giving access to the belt and tracker, as shown in the accompanying picture

A design fault on my part, not realising the significance of the support bracket positioning.
