    Default Replacing Sprocket Carbatec Thicknesser

Its an older 1994 16" model, on the right side under the cover are three sprockets, 2 large one small just below the chain tension.I have to remove and replace this smaller lower sprocket and i'm uncertain about backing off and re setting the tension part

    Appreciate some help

Do you have a photo of the sprocket arrangement with the cover off? Normally there is very little if any tension on the drive chain for the feed rollers if that is the one you are referring to.
