Ah well you see, here is our chance to get the message across. The more people who send them an email, the more they get the idea that they might sell more than a few here.
What email addy did you use Chris? I used:
[email protected]
COME ON PEOPLE - GET ONTO IT!
Even if you don't really want to buy one there are plenty of people who will and who won't send an email, so it wouldn't be giving a false impression.
Chris - how many people have read this thread?

I mean down the bottom where it shows the names of those who have looked at it. It gives a summary of the total number which also includes the people who are invisible. The number of views is misleading because just by myself I would be 10 or 12 of those (one for each new group of posts).

The on-when-pulled is good. How often have you painfully aligned the exact hole, reach up to press the switch and its moved! Grrr.....
The speed would be better to be set with a big knob, like a jogger, not the left/right thing-that-looks-like-a-knob.
That kind of constant speed thing with load sensing and wobbly-stopping would be extremely useful in things like a table saw.

Don't worry Ian, I'll send my second ex-wife around to see 'im.
One thing that concerns me about the auto depth stop is that given that it's such a sudden stop I have a feeling that even with premium and still-sharp bits it will leave a little shaving attached to the bottom of a blind hole. Not a concern for a through hole into a sacrificial piece but.....
It may be better to have a rapid but not sudden stop, kinda like the slow start on many saws etc. They have probably done testing for this and set it to what works best (I hope).
Anyway, just sayin'.

As with hand tools this technology will eventually show up in many more brands of tools. It is just a matter of time.
Of course all of the bells and whistles may not be there but the basic motor technology will trickle its way down relatively quickly.
