    Default Ryobi Saw stripped cog

Hi All. Long time since i have posted here.

Anyway i have a 240v ryobi table slide saw, model ems 1825scl. It has a 1800w motor. It sounds like a jet plan taking off when you use it
I have pulled the motor and the cog ( gear/spindle) is pretty beaten up and has a stripped tooth. It seems to me to replace it that you need to replace the whole armateur. I cannot find one in australia.

Wondering if anyone knows if i could get another armatuer from another or later model saw and or how to fix the cog.

    its similar to this one.

That over half the price of the saw, probably better just to replace the saw
